Kwanzaa

Kwanzaa, the African-American cultural holiday, begins December 26th, 2007. The celebration continues through January 1st, 2008. The official Kwanzaa holiday is a fairly new tradition. It was first celebrated in the United States in 1966, but its roots go back much further to harvest festival celebrations that have been held by various cultures in Africa for hundreds of years.
